Welcome to my Official Website.
Hi, welcome to my website! I'm Hannah Cockroft, a British wheelchair racing athlete specialising in sprint distances, in the T34 classification. I currently hold the World and British records for the T34 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m, the Paralympic records for the T34 100m and 200m, I'm a Double double World Champion and double London 2012 Paralympic gold medallist. Not bad for a 21 year old from Yorkshire!
Here you will be able to find the latest news and information about 'Hurricane Hannah', together with details of my charities and sponsors, videos, photographs, results and my racing calendar.
I am hard in training for the 2014 sseason whilst also studying for an undergraduate degree at Coventry University. I am looking ahead to competing this summer, culminating in the European Championships in Swansea where I will race in the 100m and and 800m. The longer term plan is to continue working closely with my coach Jenni Banks to retain my double Paralympic champion title in Rio 2016 and to compete in the 2017 World Championships that are to be held in London.
Don't forget to keep checking back for regular updates to my website and I look forward to seeing you at the track.
